Romance writers should be experts on love, but that’s not the case with Libby Day and her friends. Although they can come up with great stories on the page, their relationships in real life are all miserable failures.

While on a writing retreat in the mountains, they decide to try to pen the perfect man—the kind that only exists in a novel.

Libby yearns for a rock star. Nicky Knightly wants a motorcycle bad boy. Eliza Penbroke dreams of a Highland warrior (preferably in a kilt). And Jess Harper longs for a hot cop.

Four stores in one!

I loved how we got four storylines all merged together. Loved it! And what a nice was to see weave so many different personalities together.

A little of everything!

This started out a bit slow and gained momentum. By the time I found myself guessing whodunnit, the story was nearly over! Smartly written with a little intrigue, a little humor, a little of life's twists and turns, a few hot times, and a lot of love! I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

The best strong female characters & perfect narration for all. Romance & mystery in one!

This is the first book by #AbigailDrake I’ve read and I’m such a fan! I love the four leads she created and their strong love stories with some mystery/scandal mixed in. Libby, Nicky, Eliza & Jess had me rooting for them the whole way. This is a perfect book to start off the New Year with for a distraction that keeps you glued to every page.

Yu-Li Alice Shen did an exceptional job at narrating the many characters in this gem!
