Although short, this book was full of helpful pointers for writers. I will go right back to my manuscript and apply. Very well read in clear British English.

Most books are too long because the authors drone on. This one is wonderfully crisp with loads of great examples and suggestions.

Right to the point without fluff

As a writer, I tend to focus too much or too little on my settings. After listening to this, I think I have a somewhat better idea of how to set my settings, and ways to question how I set my scenes. Though it primarily uses UK references, I still found it useful as an American writer.

Narration-wise it is kinda flat, but not so much that it takes away from the material.

Very useful for those new to writing setting
