In a desperate attempt to stave off nuclear armageddon, a man goes back in time to kill the person responsible for bringing the world to the brink: Albert Einstein. Based on a story by Frederik Pohl, this episode of X Minus One originally aired on December 26, 1957.

X Minus One premiered in April 1955 on NBC and ran until January 1958. Like its predecessor series, Dimension X, X Minus One featured stories by the greatest names in modern science fiction: Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, Clifford Simak, Robert Bloch, and many more.

A Classic

Beware of all X-minus One productions, they start and end with a high shrill blast to your ears. This is story is a classic and is much better in it's original form. It can be found in Alternating Currents by Pohl. This story is still good in this form and is worth a listen, but you still want to find it in print as it is not the same.
