Today, Yao is boating with his family to hunt for and gather eggs from the Farallon Islands off the coast of San Francisco, California for the first time. Yao wishes to finally see a whale, but his family are afraid of pirates who steal from fishermen. If pirates steal the eggs they gather, his family will not be able to provide for themselves.
