As a prospective student to the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, this book truly hits home. It has really encouraged me to keep pushing forward in my dream of becoming a health coach. I really like the fact that the author narrated this book as she is also the founder of FMCA.

The verbiage used in this book has really helped me define where health coaching fits into the care system. I live in the Midwest and if you say you're a health coach, people look at you funny because they don't understand. I completed IIN and am NBHWC certified, but still struggle with what to say in coaching sessions and how to explain this role. I love that she tied in common coaching conversations along with the commentary, making it easier to keep my attention. Wish I would have read this a lot sooner.
