Grace has a rough childhood and the mystery behind her father’s murder doesn’t sit well with who they accused. Why her whole world was turned upside down and then issues with her best friend will the truth come out? After high school she wanted to write a story for work. Wanted to get down to the real answer. The journey along the way, lots of surprises come out and she was finally able to put the pieces together. It was a lovely read and enjoyed it very much.

Christmas novella

This is a great short Christmas novella and also my 1st one by Leigh Jack. She did an amazing job, it kept you on your toes and the way she brought the characters to life made you feel like you were there with them during the story. It felt like you were playing the game clue but with a Christmas theme. 🎄

Cozy, Cute Christmas, but with Murder + Revenge

When I slammed my headphones down my big ol' head I was expecting to settle in for a cozy, cute Christmas romance. What I was NOT expecting was to be WWE DDT'd through my headphones as this story kicked off with sweet teen love which was quickly followed by murder, lies, scandal, heartbreak and the decimation of friendships.

I don't what about any of that screams 'Christmas spirit', but when I tell you I put my nips in their upright position and buckled tf up to finish the story, I am not even kidding.

Because after that WWE cage match of emotionals we were thrown into a plot for and carefully structured plan for revenge.
And honestly, it had my full support.
I was rooting for Grace to get her lick back.

I stayed on the edge of my seat as I listened along and flipped the pages of the book in Kindle.
Leigh Jack did a great job of keeping it holiday-esque while also weaving it full of suspense and giving you just enough clues to try and figure things out along the way.
Not to brag, but I figured it out in advance, but I'm also an avid Crime Junkie and in my book every is suspicious and guilty until proven otherwise. 💅

It was the perfect little Christmas novella to kick off my December reading. And if you like the tropes below, it will be perfect for you too.

Loved the story

This audiobook is narrated by Jenna Paris. This was a fabulous story that revolves around MFC Grace. It starts in high school but then jumps ahead a decade later. I liked the twists and turns of this story. And the suspense definitely kept me guessing. I think this narrator did a wonderful job telling Grace's story.

Sweet holiday mystery

I loved it! I finished it in a day! Loved the sweet story! With the twist of a bit of mystery and murder. Just what I needed to start the holiday season. Highly recommend
