Yule—also known as the winter solstice—is celebrated when nighttime has reached its maximum length, and there is a promise of brighter days to come as candles are lit and feasts are enjoyed. This guide tells you how to perform rituals and work magic with the energy of rebirth and renewal that comes with the return of the light. A range of topics are included:

  • Rituals
  • Recipes
  • Lore
  • Spells
  • Divination
  • Crafts
  • Correspondences
  • Invocations
  • Prayers
  • Meditations

Llewellyn's Sabbat Essentials explore the old and new ways of celebrating the seasonal rites that are the cornerstones of the witch's year.

A thorough and excellent gathering of information for the Yule season. It would be helpful to follow along with the physical book for recipes and stuff but she does a good job of pausing so you can write down info and follow along.

Good Yule Guide

I loved all of the great knowledge and rituals. Such a great resource for practicing wiccans.

Great resource

This is great for resource material, however being told before every. single. recipe. that the narrator will pause so you can write is annoying. Being told how the format will go is one thing, but it's literally before every single craft instruction or project recipe.

Again, content is great, but having how to dictate explained in identical wording every 3-4 minutes sometimes is very condescending.

Good information

A great blend of history and modern spiritual practices, but not as accurate with the folklore as I would prefer.
