Different take on Zombies

It was a good story what with all the mutations along the way to the new race being developed. I enjoyed the characters and really like Virginia and the Lads. I feel like this could have been stretched out to a 4 or 5 volume set to give the characters more flesh and room to grow. I would have loved to hear what happened with Virginia and the Lads and Charlie going off on their quest.

Decent book

The narrator has a nice voice. I vaguely cared about the characters but didn't feel myself really getting attached to them. I liked them but just didn't develop a bond with them. The story is good and has some unique points in it. It's different from other books I've read.

cool take on the viral mutation scenario

Enjoyable post-apocalyptic story about 2 sisters trying to survive. Not very deep into individual character development, but the characters are believable and likeable. No specific villains to hate. Action scenes are exciting, but don't think too hard about whether everything that happens is realistic. I liked the plotline about the virus mutating in unexpected ways. I hope what Charlie did to himself worked!
