I had always been known for my tough exterior and often found myself in trouble for standing up for what I believed in. After I retired from the NFL, I looked for a new challenge and found it at GDB Security firm. Expecting to protect the rich and famous, that didn’t happen. My first assignment was to guard Erana Bonds.

Erana was an up-and-coming social media influencer with a large following and a bright future. She had no idea that her life was in extreme danger from other sources than first thought. My instincts as a protector kicked in, and I made it my mission to keep her out of harm’s way. That determination to protect her from the threats that loomed, ruffled a lot of feathers.

As I got to know Erana, I discovered that she was more than just a social media influencer. She was a strong, independent woman and we shared a lot in common. But little did I know, this assignment would not only change Erana’s life but also have a profound impact on my own.

Great story, but wish it had a real narrator

I loved the book, but not the virtual narrator. Hard to distinguish between characters, in his monotone voice. Wish a live narrator could of read for this book to bring the characters alive.

I couldn’t always distinguish the characters. I need improvement in this area.

The interaction in this story was we developed but I could have used less I wouldn’t treat a woman like that being said and more demonstration of how you would treat her.
