The living dead are more alive than ever! Zombies have become more than an iconic monster for the 21st century: They are now a phenomenon constantly revealing as much about ourselves - and our fascination with death, resurrection, and survival - as our love for the supernatural or post-apocalyptic speculation. Our most imaginative literary minds have been devoured by these incredible creatures and produced exciting, insightful, and unflinching new works of zombie fiction. We've again dug up the best stories published in the last few years and compiled them into an anthology to feed your insatiable hunger….

Some of the short stories were wonderful. If you are going for this book to hear Neil Gaiman’s offering don’t bother it’s in one of his compilations.
The sci fi ones were meh but many of the 37 were good id say at-least 10 made this worth the time. One had me in tears and one was very clever. The performance was better than some but not my fav.

Hit or miss but ya go for it

Many of the tales have a new twist or the ending is a surprise. i love zombie tales. i love the struggle that is overcome and the ingenuity of the human spirit. A platitude but still my opinion.

So many Zombies so little time.

I loved most of the stories. The narrators were EXCELLENT, doing different voices, accents, expressing inflexions and emotions perfectly, without sounding like they were reading, but actually telling stories.
Highly recommend.

Really, really, REALLY good!

The stories were quite good, I'm not a big fan of the fantasy type zombies but the stories on the whole were good. I had a hard time with Gavin's narration...her voice is grating to me, but might not be to others.

Some good, some okay
