Essie Cobb hates the pandemic. She misses her friends Opal, Margery, and Fay. She misses all the adventures they used to have at the Happy Haven Assisted Living Facility. But now she’s restricted to her room, and she can’t go anywhere or do anything. Or can she? Essie is not one to take adversity lying down - or rather, shuffling along behind her walker. She decides to try her hand at Zooming - that is, chatting online with her friends and acquaintances. Little does she know that this adventure is just beginning, and before long, Essie and her pals will be solving a crime that the police haven’t been able to solve for years!

This is the sixth in the Essie Cobb Senior Sleuth mysteries. The first five have been previously recorded for Audible.

I do enjoy this series but sometimes I get tired of the narrator who makes Opal's voice sound like Eeyore in Winnie The Pooh. Also....senior sleuth or not....why would Essie get so worked up about a mystery lady named Caroline? I am a senior and cannot think of any of my friends or myself who would go to such lengths. Still, the story has it's likable moments and I am a dedicated Essie Cobb dan!

Don't Get Me Wrong! I LOVE the Essie Cobb series

This was the best Essie Cobb story yet. Essie is such a vibrant and innovative grandma. I just love her, and you will too!

Not much of one for reviews. I felt it could be helpful for this Audible book. Not a mystery about murder, instead a very relatable story of crimes against the elderly. And how just caring enough to reach out will not be met with skepticism and disrespect. Nice small details kept it easy to follow who's who. I think it may also help generate enthusiasm for web conferencing. Engaging overall.
