In 1548, John Calvin released his influential Commentaries on six of St. Pauls Epistles, which includes insights on Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Timothy. Within these commentaries, the distinctive doctrines that characterize Calvins theological perspective emerge naturally, shaped by the context of the biblical text.
