È il giorno di Pasqua del 1475 a Trento, quando uno sconosciuto si prende la vita del piccolo Simone. Lui ha solo tre anni e di lì a poco viene venerato dalla Chiesa come San Simonino martire. Ma solo fino al 28 ottobre del 1965, quando ci si accorge che non è stato vittima di un “omicidio rituale” voluto ed eseguito dalla comunità ebraica.
