This is an ok production of "A Dolls House" & i Melrose I am being generous. Unfortunately, the advertisements are inserted randomly and with no warning, so soliloquies & scenes are interrupted & you lose the momentum of the speech & the power is diminished. For anyone even moderately distractable, it's a nightmare!
I listened to this version because I needed to refresh my memory to discuss the play with my son. At the time, it is included at no charge in the prime catalog. For those new to this work, find a better production with appropriate interruptions, like in between acts.
As for the performance, it is poorly edited & compiled. There is a conflict of accents between the characters. The narrator's voice is loud & crystal clear, while Torvald's voice has a fuzzy background noise. Rank is barely audible & even when the characters interact, it is clear they were all recorded separately. Read, listen to, & watch the play, but avoid this particular production!!

A terrible presentation of a great play
