AST100 - Session 2 - The Night Sky | آسمان شب

This episode is part of a special 8-session astronomy course, AST100 – Introduction to Astronomy, delivered through Voice of Science Afghanistan in partnership with Future Bridge Organization.

In Session 2, we begin exploring the night sky and the objects we can observe above us.

What do we actually see when we look at the night sky?

What are stars, and why do they appear so small from Earth?

What are planets, and why do they move differently from stars?

In this episode, we also discuss the celestial sphere, constellations, zodiac constellations, the motion of objects across the sky, and the phases of the Moon.

This session introduces the basic structure of the night sky and helps build the foundation for understanding astronomy.
