The Silent Generation learned to endure because they lived through economic collapse and world war. Baby Boomers learned to build institutions because they grew up in a time of expansion. Gen X learned self-reliance because they were latchkey kids, home alone while both parents worked. Millennials learned to seek professional help because therapy finally became acceptable. Gen Z learned to speak up because they watched what silence cost the generations before them. And Gen Alpha? They're learning not to carry it at all.
