We’re going back to Vancouver this week to read the newest book from Stephanie Archer, The Wild Card: Vancouver Storm Book 5. This book centers around surly bar owner Jordan and Vancouver Storm head coach Tate Ward. The two have to pair up to keep the team from being sold to someone who might tear it apart, and with a little help from a 9yo girl, a feral cat, and an entire team of hockey players, Jordan and Tate eventually warm up to each other.

Well, we’re a week late because life is hard and the holidays are super busy. But still, we’re excited to talk about Good Spirits by B.K. Borison! We have no idea why this book is generating so many mixed reviews because we absolutely loved it. Harriet, the owner of an antiques shop is visited by Nolan, the Ghost of Christmas Past–except that they can’t seem to find any memories that would lead them to believe she’s in need of divine intervention. It’s funny, it’s emotional, and it made both of us cry. 10000/10 recommend.
