  • Pitta Dosha - The Energy of Transformation
    Apr 6 2026

In this episode of Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I explore Pitta dosha, the energy of transformation, digestion, and inner fire.

Through a gentle opening with the grounding and cooling mantra sounds LAM & VAM, I invite you to soften the intensity of fire and reconnect with the stabilizing elements of earth and water.

Pitta governs not only how we digest food, but how we process life, our thoughts, emotions, and experiences. When balanced, it brings clarity, confidence, and purposeful action. But when excessive, it can lead to burnout, inflammation, irritability, and a constant sense of pressure.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • The role of Pitta in the body and mind
    • Signs of balance vs. imbalance
    • How modern life can aggravate excess fire
    • Nourishing foods and simple lifestyle practices to cool and support Pitta
    • A deeper, more compassionate approach to ambition, perfectionism, and self-expectation

This is an invitation to shift from striving… into softness.
To tend to your inner fire with care, rather than force.

Take a breath, place a hand on your heart, and return to rhythm.

    May you be grounded.
    May you be nourished.
May you move gently with the rhythms of life.

  • Vata Dosha — The Energy of Movement
    Mar 30 2026

In this episode of Root & Restore, An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I begin a deeper dive into the doshas by exploring Vata, the energy of movement in the body and mind.

Vata is made of the elements air and ether and governs things like breath, circulation, digestion, creativity, and our nervous system. When balanced, it brings inspiration, flexibility, and creativity. But when elevated, it can show up as anxiety, restlessness, digestive irregularity, and feeling scattered or overwhelmed.

In this episode I share how Vata influences our daily lives and simple ways we can begin restoring balance through digestion, rhythm, and lifestyle practices.

Because one of the greatest lessons Ayurveda continues to teach me is that healing begins when we learn to live in rhythm rather than resistance.

  • Understanding the Doshas — The Foundation of Ayurveda
    Mar 23 2026

In this episode of Root & Restore, An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I’m beginning a new series where we explore one of the most important foundations of Ayurveda: the doshas.

Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are the three biological energies that govern everything in our bodies and minds, from digestion and sleep to our personality, stress response, and overall health.

Understanding the doshas is often the first doorway into Ayurveda because it helps us recognize that we are all unique. What nourishes one person may not nourish another, and learning to understand your own constitution can help you begin living more in rhythm with your body and with nature.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be taking a deeper dive into each dosha individually and sharing simple ways you can begin supporting balance through digestion, daily rhythms, and lifestyle practices.

My hope is that these conversations help you become more curious about your body and more compassionate with yourself as you begin to understand the patterns that shape your health.

Because one of the greatest gifts Ayurveda has given me is the permission to live in rhythm rather than resistance, and that is something I hope to share with all of you.
