From 1968 to 1971 he was NCO–In-Charge of the Aircraft Operations Control Center, Patrick AFB, FL supporting Apollo missions 4 through 14 deploying Apollo Range Instrumentation Aircraft (ARIA) providing astronaut communications around the world.
