God used Gideon in a mighty way to impact the entire nation of Israel. Gideon was living in fear when God came to him. God meets us where we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way. God did not define Gideon by his fear, but called him a “mighty warrior.” Gideon took a next step of faith and trusted in God. Against overwhelming odds, God wins the battle, and God receives the glory. Will you take a “next step” of faith in your spiritual journey today? Will you trust in the One who still does miracles?
