• Palm Branches & False Hopes
    Mar 30 2026

This Palm Sunday, we begin our Holy Week series, Behold the King, by looking at Matthew 21:1–17 and the surprising kind of King Jesus truly is. The crowds welcomed him with palm branches and celebration, but many of them were hoping for a king who would serve their agenda, secure their comfort, and fight for their side. Instead, Jesus entered Jerusalem with a deeper mission: to confront what was broken, cleanse what was corrupted, and make room for healing. In this message, Palm Branches and False Hopes, we will explore the difference between the king people wanted and the King they actually received. We will see how easy it is to welcome a version of Jesus that fits comfortably inside our existing beliefs and priorities, while resisting the real Jesus who calls for our allegiance. If you have ever wondered whether Jesus came simply to support your plans or to lovingly lead you into something far better, this message is for you.Join us as we behold the King who may not always meet our expectations, but is exactly the King we need. And as Holy Week begins, we will remember that the story does not end with palm branches and praise. It leads to the cross, where Jesus lays down his life even for those who misunderstood him, and to the empty tomb, where hope rises again. For more info about our church community, or to connect with us, go to www.creekside.cc

  • Pay Yourself Last
    Mar 2 2026

How do you balance giving with bills, debt, and savings? In Matthew 25:14–30, Jesus tells the Parable of the Bags of Gold—a master entrusts his servants with significant resources, then returns to settle accounts. The issue isn’t how much they received, but what they did with what was entrusted to them. The big question won’t be, “What did you do with your money?” but “What did you do with His money?”Today’s message includes three practical steps for faithful stewardship:Face it so you can be faithful: Get honest and accurate about what comes in and what goes out. A budget is a plan—on purpose.Order your money by the Owner’s priorities: Give first, save second, and live on the rest.Remember the goal: God entrusts resources so we can do good—loving our neighbors in practical, tangible ways (Matt. 25:31–46).If you’re new with us, we’re glad you’re here. • Where Love Draws the Line (2 Thessalonians 3:6-18)
    Feb 18 2026

Welcome to Creekside Community Church. In today’s message, Where Love Draws the Line (2 Thessalonians 3:6–18), we’re exploring a question every church eventually faces: when do we help, and when do we hold the line?Paul addresses a painful but necessary topic: what to do when someone in the church family refuses responsibility and becomes disruptive? This passage shows us how love doesn’t ignore what harms the body, but also refuses to treat people like enemies. Instead, Paul calls the church to pursue peace, protect fellowship, and use loving boundaries for the purpose of restoration. If you’ve ever felt the tension between compassion and accountability, or wondered how a church can stay healthy without becoming harsh, this message will give you a biblical framework and a hopeful vision. Our prayer is that God would form us into a church family so meaningful, so loving, and so safe that belonging truly matters—and worth protecting.New here? We’d love to connect with you. • Second-Half Faith (2 Thessalonians 2:13-3:5)
    Feb 11 2026

If you feel spiritually tired or shaky right now, what would God say to you in a “halftime speech”? In 2 Thessalonians 2:13–3:5, Paul reminds a stressed-out church to get back to the fundamentals: anchor your heart in the objective good news of what Jesus has done, hold tightly to what you’ve received in Scripture, and keep your hands busy with God’s work as the mission moves forward. This service includes worship, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper as we re-center on grace, stand firm, and ask God to direct our hearts into his love and Christ’s endurance. Thanks for joining Creekside Community Church online.
