This is a clip from our first episode "Growth & Customer Journey Overview." Marketing loves to talk about funnels, but a customer journey is the real path that people take from first hearing about your brand to buying and coming back again. Journey Versus Funnel These steps are Discovery - Brand Research, On-Site User Experience, Conversion Flow, and Follow-up. We're going to go into more detail about those five steps in a second. This path is not linear. Customers, just like you do, they bounce! They see an ad, maybe they click, maybe they don't. They come back and research you on Google, on Reddit, on YouTube, use Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, whatever AI tool is out next week. And they come back weeks later, maybe, ready to decide to buy, or never. So that's why we analyze your entire customer journey, offsite and onsite, step by step, and after, I should say, and prioritize the top three quickest lifts for your business now. So then you can grow revenue from the same traffic, and by the same traffic, I mean, you don't have to increase ad spend at this point. And then once you have these things fixed, then you, boom! You scale the ads into a journey that's actually ready to buy. The key takeaway here is a customer journey is a confidence building system. If any step in this process creates doubt, the sale can slow down, it can pause for longer than you want, or poof! It vanishes. So what you're going to get from this guide is a plain English definition of customer journey, which we've just started to do, why it's not linear and why that's normal, and fast fixes that you can implement now with no additional ad spend required."
