Re-visioning of the Kingdom doesn't actually start with the kingdom - it starts first with the Father. Part of the re-visioning starts with how we view the Father in light of the person of Jesus. However, we do not simply stop at this revelation - we must continue the journey into why Jesus really came!

What we were born for, and ultimately designed for, comes as a secondary consequence of a lifestyle of adoration. In this revelation, we now see orthodox soteriology not simply as we were on the wrong side, we repeated a prayer and now we're on the right side. It actually means that now, we are on the path to the restoration of all things that had been lost, stolen and forfeited. What is the thing that was lost? The image of God!

Now that we are having some of our preconceived ideas challenged and admitting that some of our preconceptions have become misconceptions, how do we reconceptualize what we mean when we talk about the kingdom of God? We must admit that Jesus's message was in fact the kingdom of God. He showed up and announced the end of every other kingdom and the beginning of the true Kingdom of God!

Often times the Father is doing exactly what it is we've asked Him to do. However, not at all in the way we expected Him to do it and certainly not within the time frame we expected Him to do it. But faith does not require things to happen at a certain time nor does it require things to happen in a certain way - faith believes He's watching over His word to perform it.

We must not settle for being a better version of who we are. But we must understand that we now have a share in god like, distinctive, native peculiarities. How does this happen? It already has. Why has it then not happened? We must believe in our minds what our spirit already knows. This is how we get to true Christ likeness.

We are faithfully celebrating the already while knowing there is still a "Not Yet" to come. Do we believe we're going to somewhere that eye has not seen and ear has not heard? Yes - but we don't need that to happen in order to be thankful. We fully love and rejoice our "Already" while believing that the "Not Yet" is promised and will come to pass!

The significance and simplicity of our Christology is a foundation that must be laid in order that we might receive the fullness of all He's designed us to inherit and become all that He's designed us to be. We will continue to place an extremely high value on the importance of our Christology!
