One of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. Trust me, you will not be disappointed

story started strong, interesting characters and direction. however halfway through Linna and Tess....shift? Tess becomes a pick-me who is "not like the other girls" because "guys are easier to hang out with and like don't compete with me" (her literal dialogue). And Linna turns from a traumatized young girl in to a jealous sobbing mess who is constantly described as a supermodel? It sounds like the young male characters are written from a teen boys perspective ("Tess you intimidate me, no girl has ever done that"- BOY YOU ARE 18 YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE WORLD IS LIKE).

Even Gabriel who had so much potential turns in to a clingy creepy old man desperate to tutor a teenage girl??? What is this?? When the characters took this turn i had to leave it alone. if you want a story with more character interaction that's MEANINGFUL especially between the women, look elsewhere.

All the women in this story act like what a man thinks women act like (jealous, vindictive, seductive), and if you're an older woman you're past your prime and sick and alone. Even the two lesbians only ever talk about men (Gabriel) or about their jealousy over an ex.

This might actually fail the Bechdel test.

The series starts out well, drawing me in. However, by ep. 14, I had to quit. All of the characters, every single one, is totally fubar. The story line goes forward, backward then sideways. The PoV changes from one to another, then resumes somewhere else in the timeline. Nobody is normal, or even close. Nobody is likeable, or even close. I don't care how it ends. I don't care if a single one of them survives. They are all driven by rage, angst, self loathing and have the brains of a sugar cube. It's as if the writer took a medical journal of psychiatric conditions and started assigning then to the entire cast .. 4 for you, 5 for this one, a whole chapter for a third. There is something irritating about the voice acting, as well. Or maybe they were just struggling under the weight of their multiple mental problems. Hard to say. Sorry I wasted my time plus, now I'm mad at the stupidity of the series.
