In this season of Dr Death, we heard from people who went to Farida Fata for cancer treatment - but instead found pain and death. Laura speaks with Mike Hixenbaugh, a national investigative reporter for NBC News and host of the Wondery series Do No Harm about reporting Dr Death and what happens when institutions we trust turn against us.©2024 Wondery (P)2024 Wondery

Very well done, fascinating, horrifying and extremely sad at times. The doctors depicted in these real life stories are incomprehensible and frightening. The motives for their many criminal acts of negligence, bodily harm, botched surgeries, and giving people treatments they dont need to be able to bill more is mind boggling. The worst part is the people who looked away, covered up, and failed to report their eggregious actions or the medical boards who were tied up in so much red tape nothing was done about these physicians.
