E011 Cognac

Cognac isn't just fancy brandy that is double distilled in copper pot stills and then oak-barrel aged for at least 2 years. Like any number of spirits throughout history, it is named for the area from which it’s produced but history has a way intertwining itself into places and spaces.

Tonight, we focus on Cognac and how it affected history for France, the USA, and specifically New Orleans. We meander our way through Bourbon Street and the amazing cemeteries that hold so much mystery and intrigue.
