E252 - Crime 101 - What Would YOU Do?

This week on Cinema IRL, Scott and Amber are hitting the pavement for *Crime 101*, a heist flick where the only thing more elusive than the thief is a promotion for a woman over fifty. They’re dissecting the "one last job" trope and debating exactly how many millions it takes to successfully disappear from society without ending up as a Walmart greeter. Scott gets surprisingly comfortable with the idea of planting evidence to save on paperwork, while Amber tries to figure out if he’s actually a "piece of work" or just a realist. Between Chris Hemsworth lookalikes and the ethics of "good" vs. "bad" criminals, they’re asking the tough questions, like whether a lady of the night appreciates a client who actually showers. It’s a high-speed chase through Los Angeles that somehow ends in a heated debate about Bentley-driving action stars and property taxes. (RIP Chuck Norris - he was still alive when we recorded this.)
