Best version I’ve heard so far. Great cast/voices, very immersive sound design, and a presentation of the characters & story that makes it all feel interesting, believable, and full of personality. Gives off some strong Pirates of the Caribbean vibes.

Very “Pirates of the Caribbean”

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

What had the potential to be an interesting adaption of this great American story to a new medium, wholly butchers it by painting white people and Christians as “poison,” which doesn’t have the faintest connection to the original. Produced in 2021, it now feels grotesquely outdated merely a few years later. Stick to the original work from Melville.

Indoctrinating & Racist Rewrite

This adaptation is an obvious rewrite of this classic novel where “white Christians” are the villains. I recommend actually reading the original book. You’ll see the contrast to this absurd production.
