The writing, production and focus on detail is the hook that brings you in as a listener to the story. I was born in 1956 and recognize that there was generational mistrust of the Japanese American community from my own parents. I too bear personal American embarrassment and felt the message of this podcast deeply. Thank you team Maddow for keeping it real and tying the story into currrent events. My prayer is that millions listen to this story for thier own education and soul.

Will we ever learn?
