Dom expresses himself so well in this interview. I loved the way he painted this picture of his life piece by piece, from profiting off of his hardships to the times he felt close to god. This interview allowed dom to change the story he’s been telling, to a more authentic and genuine version of what he’s gone through in his life before the fame and his experience being in the public eye. He talks about how going underwater was the only time everything went silent. I think it is very telling that the ocean is or was his escape. He also speaks about the first time he truly felt serenity. Overall, this interview goes in depth with how Dominic sees himself and how he’s been handling life. I love learning more about the artists I listen to and this one definitely does Dominic Fike some justice.
