In this episode of Everyday Hockey Greg and Dale talk about a research driven method of determining who is a great dangler, and who will never be. Greg's daughter Erica and her Lulea team's round two playoffs in the Swedish Women's Hockey League. Dale lament's the lack of manners as Oiler fans go through the annual "doubt phase" of the season, and Greg has some tips for how to raise good Canadian kids.

On Episode 8 of Everyday Hockey, Dale blows a goalie gasket and goes on a rant about his favorite teams lack of a credible backstop. Greg gives an update about his new pet gallstone and talks about the Swedish Women's League playoffs, and some interesting innovations in the PWHL.

On Episode 7 of Everyday Hockey Greg and Dale discuss hockey playoffs from tournaments hundreds of Kms from home late on a Sunday, to the current state of the NHL playoff race to Erica's Lulea team taking a lead in their series in Sweden. Dale has a bit of a flu and Greg expresses appreciation for the virtual nature of their friendship.

The "finger-gate" curling controversy and the language that those kids must have learned from hockey. On the inaugural launch of the podcast, we pay tribute to Hall of Fame goalie Glenn Hall who passed away on January 7, 2026. We also look at some of the other goalie greats who have passed away in the last year.
