LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With! Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with two absolute megastars in the industry, it's PHIL LORD & CHRIS MILLER! A truly fine double-guest sureshot as Phil and Chris connect on the line to talk all things movies (and indeed life and death), and celebrate the release of their new movie PROJECT HAIL MARY! The perfect moment to receive the duo as guests. The trio actually have a through line of the Bill Lawrence connection (who appreciators will definitely be familiar with), but on top of that, we get to hear about all thing Project Hail Mary, space loneliness, getting dark but not grim-dark, science being social, the preference of mess when it comes to film, how the film 2001 clearing the cinematic dancefloor led to total inspiration, the subgenre of Florida Swamp Horror, puppet turkey crowdwork, and the joys of getting a screen band together. Their shared mantra of "Let's make someone's favourite movie" is perfect, and something that for sure many listeners can attest to. And if all else fails, as they'll advise you, just make a movie with Ryan Gosling! • Elisabeth Moss • (Mad Men / The Handmaid's Tale / The Invisible Man) • #387
    Mar 18 2026
LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With! Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the true treasure and official friend of the podcast ELISABETH MOSS! This is a glorious episode featuring one of the brightest shining stars of big and less-big screen (depending on your home cinema dimensions) of the past couple of decades, who handles pure business in front of as well as behind the camera. For some of us the journey began with her portrayal of Peggy Olson on Mad Men which ran for the duration of the show, and maybe for some it began more recently with the intense and chilling The Invisible Man. Without going through each and every role Elisabeth has played, basically at some point you will have encountered her work, which will surely be why you are here listening - and in this bubbly and beautiful episode you'll get to hear all sorts of behind the scenes goodies, present day life moments, and some superb choices. Elisabeth is awesome - and - we are blessed to have her on the Patreon team! For as long as she feels it appropriate to stay, naturally. • Himesh Patel • Rewind Classic (Tenet / Station 11 / Yesterday)
    Mar 4 2026
LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With! A REWIND CLASSIC! Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the fabulous actor HIMESH PATEL! Original writeup below: You'll likely know the excellent Himesh from films such as Yesterday, or perhaps the pallindromological Tenet, but you are also very likely to be aware of his work on the smaller screen in shows such as Avenue 5, Station 11 or the behemoth that is Eastenders (the unbingeable one). Well, here is your chance to get acquainted with Himesh himself, as we hear about it all - the act of crying at films becoming a fork in the road for the future, re-examining problematic films, TV vs film process, and the difference in being recognized from both media. A lovely one right here! Video and extra audio available on Brett's Patreon! IMDB INSTAGRAM STATION 11 AVENUE 5 YESTERDAY TENET ENJOY / TWO DOSAS / THE FOX BRETT • X BRETT • INSTAGRAM THE SECOND BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE TED LASSO SHRINKING ALL OF YOU SOULMATES SUPERBOB (Brett's 2015 feature film) Learn more about your ad choices. I've been enjoying Brett Goldstein's performance in Ted Lasso and was intrigued by his podcast.

An extra thrill was hearing that Edgar Wright liked The Ruins, a horror movie I worked on!

Interesting people discussing interesting movies!

The Fall (2006). The scene with the pills and later with the monkey. Full on ugly, cathartic, sobbing, hyperventilating tears. I had never even heard the name Lee Pace, and now every time I see him play an elf king or a blue Ronan, I feel like he's being wasted. (And this coming from someone who loves elf kings and the MCU.)

Love this podcast. It's delightful in all the ways the Office is not.

The movie that made me sob cry...

I love this podcast. Brett Goldstein is funny and kind and sooooooo interesting. plus he's Roy Kent! I discovered films that I've never heard of and rediscovered films I had forgotten about. Take a listen. You won't regret it.
