Leisel saw one of the weirdest ever drive thru’s yesterday – a drive thru adult shop. She even made eye contact with someone as they drove through picking up their goods... Spida votes for a new drive thru fish and chips is an untapped market and parents would live a drive thru baby-changing station. The Lady Tradies are out in Worongary helping Phil get wheelchair ramps installed. His mum is unwell and the Lady Tradies are doing their part to try and make things just a little bit easier during a tough time. Spida has a big weekend on the road that was locked in before the fuel crisis. He and Sheree are driving TWO motorhomes from Melbourne back to QLD. Very heavy pockets! Not as bad as Lisa, who calls in because she has a drive to Broome already locked in! We chat to Dane, the Titans fan running 1km for every point that his team lose by. As a non-runner, you can imagine Dane’s pain when the Titans lost by 40 in Round1. The shin splints are real!

Liam had parent-teacher interviews last night all on his own! His adult responsibility and the future of his children really dawned on him. Spida is fed up with Crisafulli after finding out that the Coomera hospital is being torn down. The amount of time and money that has been wasted just to tear it down + the supposed deadline for a completion next year. He is sick of the half-finished jobs. Coomera Connector, Light Rail, the new stadium, the Olympics looming. The team got on the tools with John Holland and the Lady Tradies to help out Donna + Liam was brought back down to Earth by an employee that just started in the office. He had to explain who he was – not once, but twice. His poor little ego!

The team go off the rails with the question of the day, mostly chatting about the size of Leisel’s Positivity Peen.

Everyone is off to a Lady Tradies job today, getting on the tools to fix up Donna’s backyard. Leisel has come to work in her hot pink steel caps, ready to fire! Spida is usually a thongs guy but learned the hard way when he dropped a window on his foot. Even funnier, Jason calls in and talks about an employee who wasn’t wearing steel caps that screwed himself to a roof and then his drill battery died!

Jarrod Wallace comes in studio to talk about his upcoming boxing match with Nelson Asofa-Solomona. J-Wal is fit and ready to go, having lost 16kg! Spida doesn’t give him much hope against his much larger opponent, asking if J-Wal has sold sponsorships on the bottom of his shoes!

The Podium Game has officially launched with the Podium of Smells! The team give their Top 3 and invite all comments and criticism. Tennis balls, sunscreen, paint and poo all making the lists! Spida plays a straight bat with Bakery, Baby Powder & Campfire.

One of Leisel’s favourite Tik Tok creators, Tegan DeVille, is off to prison! Leisel is torn - loves her content, but maybe she isn’t what she seemed… Considering all options, including becoming a prison pen pal. Spida has a funny story about prison visits when he and Sheree decided to drop in to Schapelle Corby’s prison in Bali to drop off some magazines.

Sheree is back in the master bedroom after being quarantined while sick & it took 15 minutes before Spida couldn’t handle it. We hear from the GC about their separate bedroom setups, including Indi who is only 24 and swears by it!

Tom Tate joins the show to talk about the T20 coming to the Goldy, the new tiny home factory being negotiated & being ready to step in and save the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.

Spida and Producer George had a rap battle bet for the Cowboys vs Titans NRL game. Cowboys win and Spida must write and perform a Titans rap. For a man without rhythm, it’s no easy feat!

Liam found one his favourite events ever on the weekend – a knitting festival “Knitopia.” He was looking for a gift for Leisel and then something jumped out at him! The crocheted “Positivity Peen”. It is exactly what it sounds like and Leisel couldn’t be more stoked.

Leisel puts the boys to the test with parental threats & Spida has obviously had his fair of sprays, because he is remarkably good at finishing the phrase!

If the Positivity Peen was not embarrassing enough, Leisel had a trip to the chemist on the weekend to keep the medicine cabinet stocked. She likes to be prepared for any occasion and needed to stock up on Imodium in case things ever went bad. Worst case scenario – the pharmacist selling her the diarhoea medication was a stud! No amount of explaining can save you in that interaction!
