The internet gave humanity unlimited knowledge, instant communication, and the ability to learn almost any skill imaginable… and we used it to invent challenges where people eat laundry detergent, inhale cinnamon, blindfold themselves in public, and literally pass out for views. From the dangerously stupid Blackout Challenge and the injury-causing Skull Breaker Challenge, to classics like the Tide Pod Challenge, Cinnamon Challenge, and the chaotic Milk Crate Challenge, we break down the viral trends that made the entire internet collectively look like it lost its mind. Some were painful, some were embarrassing, and a few were so dangerous that doctors and news networks had to publicly beg people to stop doing them.
