Harbingers of Doom

Harbingers are people, animals or even insects that foreshadow, signal, or announce the arrival of a future event, trend, or change. Often acting as a forerunner or herald, a harbinger indicates what is to come, like robins signalling that a passed loved one is nearby or a single Magpie representing bad luck or even a Irish Banshee foretelling of death. The term can carry positive or negative connotations, often implying a omen of doom or even a pioneer of new developments.
