• Florida Teen Shot and Killed
    Mar 28 2026

It was a typical night for a teen who was visiting with his dad and bonus mom when he decided to go to the store to grab a snack. Returning home on the phone with his girlfriend, he was abruptly approached by a man that was patrolling the neighborhood.

The kid and the man got into an altercation only after the man called the non-emergency police. Dispatch on the other side informed the man NOT to pursue the alleged suspect; the police would arrive soon.

Before the police arrived, that altercation resulted in the man shooting the teen where he died on the scene.

On this February night in 2012, the teen Trayvon Martin took his last breath—the events that followed rocked the nation. A nation that hasn't healed, reckoned with, or acknowledged the perils of brutality and injustice.

  • What is Flakka?
    Mar 22 2026

The "flakka drug," or "flakka zombie drug," is an artificial stimulant that falls under the category of synthetic cathinone, commonly referred to as "bath salts." Law enforcement agencies and health care providers have expressed significant concerns about the widespread use of flakka.

Various instances of "Man on Flakka" have been captured in videos on news channels and social media platforms. Flakka is a highly potent drug that can be snorted, injected, eaten, smoked, or vaporized in e-cigarettes. This is why YOU should be aware of what your children are doing, where they are going, and who they may associate with; it's particularly popular among younger demographics and in clubbing scenes where synthetic drugs are more prevalent, cheaper, and accessible.

Flakka's ability to induce extreme behavioral changes, particularly violent and erratic behavior, has led to its inclusion under the label of "Zombie Drug."

Please consider sharing and watching a YouTube video on this drug known as Flakka, or the zombie drug.

  • Have you experienced Panic Attacks? Dispel the Panic
    Mar 21 2026

A panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear that triggers severe physical reactions when there is no real danger. You may experience a complete loss of control, feeling as though you're on the verge of collapse.

Panic disorder often begins in late teen years or early adulthood. Women are more prone to panic attacks than men. What causes panic attacks? Rechearse says it's unclear what causes these attacks or disorders, but there are factors that may play a significant role.

Psalm 31:22 NLT states, "In panic I cried out, 'I am cut off from the Lord!' But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help."

We may think we're cut off from him in fear or panic mode, but he is never cut-off from us!

Anxiety can trigger depression and other behavioral, physical, and mental health issues. It is especially hard if you are dealing with other personal, work, relationship, or family-related issues. Please be aware that it is okay to ask for help.

  • The Seminal Wars of Florida. The resistance and relocating of the indigenous people
    Mar 6 2026

The Black Seminoles are one of the prominent Black American tribes whose history has been overlooked and suppressed, alongside other indigenous groups like the Gullah/Geechee and the Washitaw Nations.

The Black Seminoles are descendants of enslaved Africans who escaped plantations and allied with the Seminole Nation in Florida. They played a significant role in resisting slavery and fought in the Seminole Wars against the U.S. government. Their contributions to American history have often been downplayed, despite their significant resistance against oppression and their unique cultural heritage. Instead of becoming more Spanish, Florida increasingly became more "American."

    • An overview of all the Indigenous American peoples is presented in Indigenous Peoples of the Americas.
    • Discussions of various aspects of Indigenous American cultures may also be found in the following:
    • Pre-Columbian civilizations: Middle American Indian, South American Indian, the Arctic People, American Indian languages, Native American religions, and Native American arts.

  • Why Anxiety and Depression Often Show Up Together
    Feb 27 2026

Anxiety and depression are like two sides of the same coin. Your nervous system is just doing what it can with the stress, trauma history, and pressure it's carrying. A lot of people live quietly with both anxiety and depression at the same time.

Why Do They Show Up Together? Because your body comes equipped with a built-in alarm. Anxiety is the "fight or flight." Depression can look like "freeze."

Anxiety and depression often co-occur. No one needs to check every box. If this overlaps with your daily reality, it’s worth paying attention to. What matters most is how these experiences impact your life. Anxiety and depression commonly show up together because they share body systems, thought patterns, habits, and stressors. Get anxiety and depression therapy help if you need it. You can treat both at once.

  • HSP or Highly Sensitive People
    Feb 8 2026

Why Highly Sensitive People React So Strongly to Criticism.

Criticism is inevitable. Those with HSP reactions are wired deeply in their brains. The emotional brain is where their databank of triggers and past emotional memories are stored. For sensitive people, even when they logically know that criticism is invalid, they still need to process their emotions that arise. If you’re highly sensitive, check this podcast out.

Evaluate your needs and deal with the criticism. State your needs as openly, honestly, and respectfully as possible. Hold responsibility only for yourself; you are only responsible for you.

Anxiety can trigger depression and other behavioral, physical, and mental health issues. It is especially hard if you are dealing with other personal, work, relationship, or family-related issues. Please be aware that it is okay to ask for help.
