Acts 13:2-4 As they served ADONAI and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia. From there they sailed to Cyprus.

Acts 12:1-3 Now about that time, King Herod stretched out his hands to oppress some of the assembly. 2 He killed Jacob, the brother of John, with the sword. 3 When he saw that it pleased the Judeans, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This was during the days of unleavened bread.
