    Today's guest is Alexander Pujol — former physician assistant, founder of Quantum Human Performance, and one of the most courageously honest voices in the healthcare wellness space. Alex spent years working in high-pressure medical environments, carrying the weight of patient care, professional responsibility, and relentless people-pleasing without ever stopping to ask what it was costing him.

    What began as chronic stress quietly progressed into severe burnout. Severe burnout led to prolonged sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation spiraled into paranoia and psychosis. And that downward spiral ultimately culminated in a suicide attempt — a moment that forced a complete reckoning with how disconnected Alex had become from his own body, his emotions, and his sense of self.

    But that is not where his story ends.

    Through ongoing therapy, nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and the kind of deep inner work that requires more courage than any shift he ever worked, Alex rebuilt his life from the inside out. Take these few minutes with me to break up with the identity of being a people pleaser- because it's stressful and you don't like it anyway- and breathe in your true identity. Then put this breath prayer in your back pocket for those days you feel the people pleasing tendencies are creeping back. Say the breath prayer while at the hand wash station, in the restroom, in the linen closet, making the patients bed, in the car before shift or before walking in your home. Just take the 30 seconds (or 3 minutes) to breathe in grace, speak truth and reset your mind.
