• Gina Weymiller and the Wild Joy of Skijoring and Self Expression
    Mar 27 2026

Sometimes the adventure finds you when you are not even looking for it. One moment you are driving to help a friend, the next you are racing, winning, and stepping into something that changes you. That is how this conversation with Gina Weymiller begins, and it only gets richer from there.

Gina lives in Idaho Falls, a ski joring competitor, horsewoman, nonprofit founder, and someone who reminds us that it is never too late to begin. From her roots in Alaska to building a life centered around horses, faith, and community, she shares what it means to trust the process, trust your horse, and trust yourself.

We talk about adrenaline, connection, and the quiet conversations with God before, during, and after the ride. We explore the bond between rider and horse, the beauty of expression in ski joring culture, and the deeper healing that comes from simply being near these animals.

There is something here for anyone who has ever thought, maybe I missed my chance. You did not.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Saying yes before you feel ready
    • Building trust with your horse and yourself
    • Faith and surrender in high intensity moments
    • The inclusivity and community of ski joring
    • Why it is never too late to begin again
    • The healing power of horses and simple connection

    A gentle reflection:

What if the adventure you are waiting for is already inviting you in
What would it look like to take one small step toward it today

  • Rose Mukherjee on What the Fire Horse Energy Feels Like Right Now
    Mar 20 2026

Growth rarely happens in a straight line. It unfolds through moments of uncertainty, curiosity, and courage. Each conversation is an invitation to explore the paradox of living fully in the present while still reaching toward what is possible. Along the way, we discover that every step of the journey holds its own kind of adventure.

In this episode, I’m joined by Rose Mukherjee, also known as Rose Magic, a mystic, energetic architect, and founder of the Awakened Intelligence Movement. Rose helps women reconnect with their inner truth and create real momentum in their lives.

We explore the fast-moving energy of the Year of the Fire Horse and what it means when life suddenly feels like it is accelerating. Rose shares why intentional pauses, grounding in the body, and reconnecting with nature are essential when everything around us speeds up.

With my horse Chester wandering through the field and laughter woven into our conversation, this episode reminds us that transformation does not always have to be heavy. Sometimes expansion begins with a breath, a moment of presence, or the courage to release what we have been carrying.

    Takeaways

    • Pause intentionally when life speeds up
    • Resistance can signal expansion
    • Joy and laughter help release heavy energy
    • Nature and animals bring us back to balance

    Reflect

Where in your life is the adventure already unfolding?

  • The Books That Are Guiding My Curiosity This Season
    Mar 16 2026

Sometimes the greatest adventures begin with a quiet moment and an open book.

In this episode, I share a few of the books that are currently inspiring me. Reading helps me slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper adventure unfolding in everyday life.

One book I explore is Spiritual SmackDown: From Victim to Goddess by Jacqueline Shaw. After meeting Jacqueline and having a meaningful conversation together, I felt called to read her memoir. Her story of betrayal, faith, and spiritual transformation is a powerful reminder that even our hardest seasons can open the door to healing and a deeper connection with purpose.

I also share several other books on my reading list including titles about horses, leadership, health, and stories I’m reading with my children. These books invite us to stay curious, keep learning, and remember that growth often begins with a simple question or a new perspective.

    In this episode I explore

    • A memoir about faith, healing, and transformation
    • Horse wisdom and human connection
    • Books on leadership, health, and personal growth
    • eading with children and the power of stories

You can explore the books mentioned in this episode here:

    • Spiritual SmackDown – Jacqueline Shaw
    • The Bequest - B.E. Baker
    • The Order of the Unicorn - Suzanne Selfors
    •  The Anxious Generation - Jonathan Haidt
    •  The Horse in the City - Clay McShane and Joel Tarr
    • I Medusa - Ayana Gray
    •  Horse, Brain, Human Brain - Janet Jones

  • Simone Knego on Real Confidence, Kitchen Table Leadership, and Everyday Choices
    Mar 6 2026

What if confidence was not something you were born with or without, but something you could build, moment by moment, through the choices you make every day?

In this episode, I sit down with Simone Knego, bestselling author, international speaker, and creator of the REAL Method, for a thoughtful and honest conversation about confidence, leadership, and seeing yourself differently.

Simone invites us to widen our definition of leadership beyond titles and achievements and into the everyday moments that shape our lives. We talk about her concept of kitchen table leadership, how family decisions become leadership decisions, and what it looks like to lead with values, compassion, and presence at home and beyond.

She walks us through her REAL framework for building confidence from the inside out by respecting yourself, embracing failure, asking yourself what you truly want, and choosing to live without limits. Along the way, Simone shares stories from motherhood, adoption, career pivots, podcasting with her daughter, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, each one pointing back to the same truth: confidence is built through lived experience, not perfection.

  • Dr. Allison Alford and the Language We Never Had for Being a Daughter
    Feb 20 2026

Some conversations quietly shift how you see your own life. This one did that for me. Sitting with Dr. Allison Alford felt like naming something I have lived for years but never quite had words for. The constant tending, the emotional awareness, the invisible effort that keeps families moving forward.

In this episode, we talk about daughtering. Not as a duty or burden, but as an active, meaningful role that many women step into across their entire lives. Dr. Allison shares how daughtering shows up through emotional labor, planning, problem-solving, and staying connected, often without recognition or rest. We explore why burnout happens, how inherited family scripts shape us, and how choosing awareness can turn exhaustion into intentional connection.

Dr. Allison Alford is a communication scholar, speaker, clinical associate professor at Baylor University, and the author of *Good Daughtering: The Work You’ve Always Done, The Credit You’ve Never Gotten, and How to Finally Feel Like Enough*. This conversation reflects the heart of adventure as it lives inside relationships, family systems, and the courage it takes to stay present in the now while honoring who you are becoming

  • Jo Giese and Becoming the CEO of Your Own Healing
    Feb 13 2026

The deepest adventures are not always the ones we plan. They are the ones that ask us to trust, to receive help, and to keep going even when the ground beneath us has shifted.

Jo Giese is an award winning journalist, lifelong hiker, and author whose life changed after a devastating accident and a medical outcome that told her she might never walk again. Instead of accepting that ending, Jo chose something else. She chose hope, grit, and community. She became the CEO of her own healing.

In this conversation, Jo shares her journey from a traumatic Achilles injury and multiple surgeries to learning how to walk again through determination, support, and deep connection to nature. We talk about the paradox of loss and becoming, the power of subtraction when certain voices no longer belong on the trail, and how waterfalls, movement, and meaning carried her forward.

This episode is for anyone navigating a hard diagnosis, a life altering setback, or a season where progress feels slower than expected.

What you will hear and feel in this conversation

    • Why some people accept a grim diagnosis and others refuse to let it define them
    • What it means to become the CEO of your own healing
    • How choosing the right people can change the outcome
    • The role of nature and adventure in recovery and resilience
    • Why comparison leads to despair and presence restores hope
