In My 30s Season 2 is here! A singer-songwriter turned bioinformaticist turned music industry disruptor, Charles has spent his career at the intersection of data science and creativity. After contributing to research related to the Human Genome Project, he brought that analytical precision to the music industry, pioneering streaming marketing and playlisting strategies. He helped independent artist Keeley Valentino generate over 12 million Spotify streams in the early days of the platform. A nearly unheard of achievement for an indie artist at the time.

Now as co-founder of ViNIL alongside Jeremy Brook and Sada Garba, Charles is on a mission to defeat digital deception and restore trust in the age of AI. ViNIL is a Nashville-based content authentication platform that verifies, fingerprints, and tracks digital content. Protecting creators’ Voice, Identity, Name, Image, and Likeness from increasingly sophisticated deepfakes and unauthorized AI-generated media. Think of it as a certificate of authenticity for your digital self.
