Jerome: The Wicked Billion-Dollar Hill

There are towns that rest upon the land... and then there's Jerome. More than a mile above sea level, it doesn't rest. It clings to the thirty-degree slope of Cleopatra Hill. A collection of weathered brick and timeworn timber that seems to defy gravity itself. As you walk through Jerome you feel a subtle sense of unease. As if the very ground beneath your feet is not to be trusted. This feeling is not an illusion.
