    7 それで、ヨハネは、彼からバプテスマを受けようとして出て来た群集に言った。「まむしのすえたち。だれが必ず来る御怒りをのがれるように教えたのか。8 それならそれで、悔い改めにふさわしい実を結びなさい。『われわれの父はアブラハムだ』などと心の中で言い始めてはいけません。よく言っておくが、神は、こんな石ころからでも、アブラハムの子孫を起こすことがおできになるのです。9 斧もすでに木の根元に置かれています。だから、良い実を結ばない木は、みな切り倒されて、火に投げ込まれます。」10 群集はヨハネに尋ねた。「それでは、私たちはどうすればよいのでしょう。」11 彼は答えて言った。「下着を二枚持っている者は、一つも持たない者にわけなさい。食べ物を持っている者も、そうしなさい。」12 取税人たちも、バプテスマを受けに出て来て、言った。「先生。私たちはどうすればよいのでしょう。」13 ヨハネは彼らに言った。「決められたもの以上には、何も取り立ててはいけません。」14 兵士たちも、彼に尋ねて言った。「私たちはどうすればよいのでしょうか。」ヨハネは言った。「だれからも、力ずくで金をゆすったり、無実の者を責めたりしてはいけません。自分の給料で満足しなさい。」15 民衆は救い主を待ち望んでおり、みな心の中で、ヨハネについて、もしかしてこの方がキリストではあるまいか、と考えていたので、16 ヨハネはみなに答えて言った。「私は水であなたがたにバプテスマを授けています。しかし、私よりもさらに力ある方がおいでになります。私などは、その方のくつのひもを解く値うちもありません。その方は、あなたがたに聖霊と火とのバプテスマをお授けになります。17 また手に箕を持って脱穀場をことごとくきよめ、麦を倉に納め、殻を消えない火で焼き尽くされます。」18 ヨハネは、そのほかにも多くのことを教えて、民衆に福音を知らせた。19 さて国主ヘロデは、その兄弟の妻ヘロデヤのことについて、また、自分の行った悪事のすべてを、ヨハネに責められたので、20 ヨハネを牢に閉じ込め、すべての悪事にもう一つこの悪事を加えた。 1ヨハネの宗教改革メッセージ イザヤ書２９：１３「この民は口でわたしに近づき、唇でわたしを敬うが、その心はわたしから遠く離れている。」 ヨハネ４：２３〜２４「しかし、真の礼拝者たちが霊とまことによって父を礼拝する時が来ます。今がその時です。父はそのような人々を、ご自分を礼拝する者として求めておられるのです。神は霊ですから、神を礼拝する者は、霊とまことによって礼拝しなければなりません。」 詩篇５１：１７「神へのいけにえは、砕かれた霊。砕かれ、悔いた心。神よ、あなたはそれをさげすまれません。」 2神と共に歩むには 3.ヨハネの仕える姿勢 ドワイト・ムーディ Luke 3:7-20 “John preaches to the crowd” 7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers!Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.” 10 “What should we do then?” the crowd asked. 11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” 12 Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?” 13 “Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them. 14 Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.” 15 The people were waiting expectantly and were all wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be the Messiah. 16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with[a] water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with[b] the Holy Spirit and fire.17 His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” 18 And with many ...

    1 皇帝テベリオの治世の第十五年、ポンテオ・ピラトがユダヤの総督、ヘロデがガリラヤの国主、その兄弟ピリポがイツリヤとテラコニテ地方の国主、ルサニヤがアビレネの国主であり、
    2 アンナスとカヤパが大祭司であったころ、神のことばが、荒野でザカリヤの子ヨハネに下った。
    3 そこでヨハネは、ヨルダン川のほとりのすべての地方に行って、罪が赦されるための悔い改めに基づくバプテスマを説いた。
    4 そのことは預言者イザヤのことばの書に書いてあるとおりである。「荒野で叫ぶ者の声がする。『主の道を用意し、主の通られる道をまっすぐにせよ。
    5 すべての谷はうずめられ、すべての山と丘とは低くされ、曲がった所はまっすぐになり、でこぼこ道は平らになる。
    6 こうして、あらゆる人が、神の救いを見るようになる。』」

    39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.

    40 And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.

    41 Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover.

    42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom.

    43 After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it.

    44 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends.

    45 When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him.

    46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

    47 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

    48 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

    49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

    50 But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

    51 Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.

    52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
