Koalas and Chlamydia - What's Going on?

Welcome back to another episode of The Bisexual Biologist! On today's episode we're looking into our cute and cuddly marsupial friends, Koalas AKA Drop Bears. In this episode we explore why they are currently listed as vulnerable in the wild and the reason they are so susceptible to the infection caused by Chlamydia. Whilst also bringing to light the shame that surrounds STI's in human society and why normalising our conversations around them can help lift ourselves and others out of a spiral of shame and isolation.
