Living Worthily in the Church

What does it mean to live in a way that is worthy of the gospel within the life of the church?

In Philippians 2:1–11, the apostle Paul calls believers away from self-interest, rivalry, and fear, and toward a life shaped by humility, unity, and sacrificial love. At the center of this call stands Christ Himself—who did not grasp for glory, but humbled Himself in obedience, trusting the Father with exaltation.

This message explores how the mind of Christ reshapes our relationships, our community, and our daily faithfulness. It invites us to lay down the anxious striving of the world and to live together as a people formed by grace, obedience, and hope.
