In this episode, we read Luke chapters 10 and 11, where Jesus continues teaching His followers about mission, prayer, and true devotion. He sends out seventy-two disciples to spread the message of the kingdom, showing that the work of God extends beyond just the twelve and calls many to participate.
We also hear the well-known parable of the Good Samaritan, which redefines what it means to love others with compassion and action. In chapter 11, Jesus teaches His disciples how to pray, giving them the Lord’s Prayer as a model, and emphasizes persistence and sincerity in seeking God.
Luke 10–11 reminds us that following Jesus means living out our faith through love, prayer, and obedience, while trusting God to work through us in meaningful and impactful ways.
