With just weeks left in the experiment, things get serious as the couples head into home stays, offering a real-world glimpse at life beyond the show. But the pressure begins to crack even the strongest relationships.

Chris takes Sam back to his farm for what turns out to be anything but a romantic escape, leading to the shocking breakdown of one of the season’s favourite couples. Meanwhile, tensions flare over a suspicious pink neck pillow at Scott’s “dump” of a home, and Alyssa begins to feel the pressure of the decision to move interstate for David, leaving her with serious cold feet about their future.

We also pause to reflect on the tributes flowing in for MAFS expert Mel Schilling who has sadly passed away this week, after a long battle with cancer.
