One of the things I am is a businessman, so some days it is proper and needful to journal about my business, making sure everything is on track, and seeing what God wants to say specifically about the various aspects of my business/ministry.

Everyone needs a reason to get up in the morning. Some ambition, some goal, some task to do, something to create.

How to get discouraged (If I know the steps... I can avoid taking them)
If I just look around at the problems in the world, I will get depressed.

I acknowledge that there will always be problems. There will always be evil, sin, dishonesty, lying, and immorality. It has been so since the fall of Adam.

I sometimes want to suggest to God that He change the rules and simply wipe evil off the face of the planet. However, He reminds me He is God. He sets the rules, and I am to respond with “Yes, Lord.”
