    March 22, 2026 ~ Michigan has among the highest blood cancer rates, with a new diagnosis made every 90 minutes, or 6000 annually, in Michigan alone. Blood cancer, due to its lengthy treatment protocols, is among the most expensive of cancers in which to treat. The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan supports 1400 patients through treatment and beyond when other agencies stop supporting. President and CEO Doug Campbell joins Michigan Voices. At least 100 Michigan women are members of Impact 100. Each member gives $1,000 per year. Together, they award $100,000 grants to local organizations. The funding and decisions are 100% made by women. Impact100 has given transformational $100K grants to more than a dozen metro Detroit organizations.
