• Ep.159 From Chaos to Peace: Stewarding Your Thought Life
    Mar 24 2026

In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue our 2026 Stewardship series by diving into one of the most important areas we are called to manage—our minds.

If you’ve ever struggled with anxious thoughts, overthinking, negative self-talk, or seasons of heaviness and depression, this episode is for you.

Tari shares her personal journey with anxiety and depression, including how her thought patterns developed over time and the practical, faith-based steps she took to experience true transformation and peace.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why stewardship of the mind matters to God
    • How your thoughts impact your emotions, actions, and overall well-being
    • The role of awareness in breaking negative thought cycles
    • Practical ways to take control of your thought life
    • How to use Scripture and intentional meditation to renew your mind
    • The importance of what you consume through media and conversations
    • How the Holy Spirit helps transform your thinking

This conversation is both honest and practical, offering encouragement for any mom who feels mentally overwhelmed and desires a renewed, peaceful mind.

You don’t have to stay stuck in negative thought patterns.

    Freedom starts with stewardship.

    Homework:

This week, I want you to practice thought awareness and replacement:

    1. Write down 3 negative thoughts that have been on repeat in your mind.
    2. For each thought, identify the root: Is this coming from fear, past experiences, or current stress?
    3. Find one scripture or truth that directly counters each negative thought.
    4. Every time that thought comes up, intentionally replace it with truth.
    5. Take inventory of what you’re consuming this week (music, social media, conversations) and remove or limit anything that feeds negativity.

  • Ep.158 Mess, Stress & Stewardship: Creating a Peaceful Home
    Mar 5 2026

What if the key to more peace in your mind isn’t getting more… but stewarding what you already have?

In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue the 2026 theme of Stewardship by talking about how to steward your home and possessions in a way that honors God and protects your mental health.

Psalm 24:1 reminds us that everything belongs to the Lord — which means we are managers, not owners. From the detailed instructions God gave Moses for building the Tabernacle, to Jesus’ warning about storing treasures on earth, Scripture makes it clear: how we handle what we have matters.

Inside this episode, we talk about:

    • Why stewardship is a spiritual responsibility
    • How clutter impacts stress, focus, and mental clarity
    • The connection between overconsumption and overwhelm
    • The Parable of the Rich Fool and what it teaches us
    • Practical ways to steward your home well
    • How to embrace a minimalist, Kingdom-centered mindset
    • Why delegation and gratitude shift everything

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by your space, your stuff, or your responsibilities — this episode will help you shift from pressure to purpose.

Ready to choose peace? Let’s do it.

  • Ep.157 Children Are a Gift: Stewarding Motherhood God’s Way
    Feb 17 2026

In this episode of our 2026 Stewardship Series, we’re talking about one of the greatest gifts — and responsibilities — God entrusts to us: our children.

Scripture reminds us that children are a gift from the Lord, a heritage, an inheritance placed into our care. We are not their owners — we are their stewards. And stewardship means careful, responsible, intentional management of what belongs to God.

In a culture where the value of children has shifted and motherhood can feel overwhelming, inconvenient, or even burdensome, we return to biblical truth: children are not liabilities — they are legacy.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • What stewardship really means in motherhood
    • Why children are a blessing and inheritance from God
    • The cultural narratives surrounding children today

6 practical ways to faithfully steward your children — from modeling God’s principles and teaching life skills, to allowing failure, nurturing their gifts, covering them in prayer, and caring for yourself as their mother.

This conversation is not about perfection. It’s about faithfulness. It’s about asking:

How am I handling what God has already placed in my hands?

If you desire to raise your children with intention, wisdom, and generational impact, this episode is for you.

  • Ep.156 How to Faithfully Steward Your Time
    Jan 31 2026

In this episode, we continue our series centered on our 2026 word of the year: Stewardship. We explore what it truly means to steward what God has entrusted to us—and why stewardship matters deeply to God.

Focusing specifically on time, we reflect on its eternal value, the biblical responsibility we have to manage it well, and what Scripture says about faithfulness in the “small things.” Through honest reflection, biblical truth, and practical guidance, we confront distractions disguised as rest, unclear priorities, and mental overload that keep us from stewarding our time with intention.

This episode invites you to ask a sobering but necessary question:

When you stand before the judgment seat, what will God say you did with your time—and how will you account for it?

If you’re ready to stop drifting through your days and start living with purpose, peace, and obedience, this episode is for you.

  • Ep.155 How to Faithfully Steward Your Relationship with God
    Jan 17 2026

In this episode, we’re talking about the most important area of stewardship in our lives as Christian moms — our relationship with God. Before we can steward our families, our time, our health, or our finances, we have to learn how to faithfully steward the one relationship that anchors everything else.

We’ll walk through three reasons many moms struggle to steward their relationship with God well — seeing it as optional instead of foundational, carrying guilt and pressure around “quiet time,” and trying to do it all in our own strength. Then we’ll explore three practical ways to nurture your walk with God through presence over performance, simple sustainable rhythms, and learning to ask the Holy Spirit for help.

This episode is for the mom who loves God but feels busy, distracted, inconsistent, or spiritually tired. You’ll be reminded that stewardship isn’t about perfection — it’s about willingness, dependence, and faithfulness in the season you’re in.

Let’s learn to steward what matters most — our relationship with God.

  • Most Listened to Episode of 2025: Why I Stopped Smoking Weed
    Dec 31 2025

As we close out the year, I wanted to reshare the most listened-to episode of the season—an episode I originally recorded in 2023 titled Why I Stopped Smoking Weed. This conversation dives into how our habits impact both our mental and physical health and how the enemy can subtly deceive us into normalizing unhealthy patterns that slowly pull us away from God’s best. I share my personal testimony with smoking weed, what led me to stop, and how God met me right where I was, reminding us what it truly means to “come as you are” to Him. We also explore what the Bible has to say about sobriety and self-control, and I offer encouragement and motivation for anyone who is on a journey toward freedom and staying sober. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening, supporting, and growing with me this year. I am so grateful for each of you and I’m looking forward to the new year and all the new episodes, conversations, and growth we’ll share together.

  • Ep.154 Life Lessons from 2025: Small Beginnings, Obedience, and the Pace of Grace
    Dec 23 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on five life lessons God taught me this year — lessons about health, obedience, rest, and the power of small, intentional moments.

In this episode, I open up about my ongoing health and fitness struggles, emotional eating, and how God has been confronting deeper heart issues rather than surface habits. We talk about why what worked in one season may not work in the next, and how God often calls us to a slower, more intentional way of living.

I also share why “something is better than nothing,” how an all-or-nothing mindset keeps us stuck, and why small beginnings matter deeply to God (Zechariah 4:10). From micro-money habits to family Bible studies, this episode is a reminder that consistency over time produces fruit — even when progress feels slow.

Finally, we talk about obedience, waiting on God’s timing, and why we don’t always need a “new word” from God — sometimes we just need to finish what He already told us to do.

If you’ve felt discouraged, tempted to rush your process, or frustrated by slow growth, this episode will encourage you to live at the pace of grace and trust God with the timeline.

  • Ep.153 Faith Over Forgetfulness: Building a Life That Remembers God Well
    Dec 7 2025

In this episode, we’re talking about something most of us struggle with but rarely admit: forgetting the goodness of God. As we approach the end of the year and step into a season of reflection and gratitude, the Holy Spirit reminded me how easily we can slip into worry, fear, and doubt simply because we forget what God has already done.

We walk through the stories of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and the 4,000, and how—even after witnessing multiple miracles—the disciples still asked, “Where will we get enough?” Their response mirrors ours more than we like to admit. One challenge arises, and suddenly we panic, overlook God’s track record, and start problem-solving in our own strength.

In today’s episode, I share how God has been correcting me in this area, especially during a recent season of uncertainty. I also give you five practical ways to build a lifestyle of remembering God’s faithfulness so that gratitude becomes daily—not seasonal—and your faith grows stronger with every memory.

If you’ve been wrestling with worry, anxiety, or doubt, this episode will gently remind you that God has never failed you…and He’s not starting now.

    📝 Homework:

    1. Create a “God Has Been Faithful” list: Write down at least 10 moments from this year where God came through for you (big or small).
    2. Start a gratitude rhythm: Pick a time each day to write 3 things you’re grateful for. Keep them in your Notes app, a journal, or a sticky note jar.
    3. Share a testimony: Tell at least one person about something God has done for you — this strengthens your memory and their faith.
