Each week I share simple tools to empower you to stand up in your home, family and community as a LIGHT GIVER and the kind of leader that the world so desperately needs right now.

More than ever before this world needs women and mothers who have the courage to be in the trenches with their children and connect with them in powerful ways that give light, hope and direction. We can do this more effectively when we are connected to our true selves.

Motherhood Matters and because it matters so much we have to take care of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health so we can connect with our children in powerful ways.

As we nurture our own progress and growth we are more available to help our children through challenges as well as setting an example they can follow.

Having a group of likeminded women to connect and learn from is invaluable and here at Motherhood Matters we're building a village of Christ centered, deliberate women who want to make the world a better place by digging in at home to nurture the rising generation. We recognize that although we are involved in many meaningful pursuits, the most powerful influence we can have is at home.

Join me each week as we remind each other that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.

  • Understanding Common ADHD Brain Tendencies with Special Guest Jeff Rice
    Mar 13 2026

    Send a text

Today I have a special guest, Jeff Rice, join me to tell us all about what ADHD is, and what it isn't.

A few years ago when I heard the term ADHD I typically imagined a rambunctious little boy who couldn't sit still in class. Over the last couple of years I've learned that this is not an accurate definition at all and that instead of looking at it as a problem we can look at it as an opportunity to find different ways of doing things that work with us (or our child) and not against us.

I found Jeff Rice on instagram one day while I was looking for some information to help a client. His work resonated with me and I thought it might help some of you as well!

  • #58: Controlling the Controllables
    Mar 8 2026

    Send a text

This week I’m talking about how focusing on the things we can control is the path to freedom. We create a lot of extra pain for ourselves when we try to control other people and situations. We also give away all of our power when we blame other people or circumstances for how we feel.

Learning to control the controllables is a small and simple step you can take to feel more freedom and peace in your life and relationships.
